Sardor Rustamboyev becomes ambassador of Uzbekistan to India
On January 26, the new extraordinary and autonomous ambassador of Uzbekistan to India, Sardor Rustamboyev, arrived in Delhi.

Sardor Rustamboyev was born in 1978. He graduated from Birmingham University (Great Britain), Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, School of Oriental and African Studies of London University (Great Britain), Presidential Academy of State and Society Building. He has the degree of candidate of political sciences.
Since 2000, he has worked in a number of positions in the MFA system. He also worked at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Great Britain and the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. In 2018-2023, he headed the embassy in France.
In 2019, he was included in the top-35 list of young and progressive leaders by the “Yuksalish” nationwide movement.
Sardor Rustamboyev succeeded Dilshod Akhatov, who headed the embassy in Delhi in 2020-2023 and was appointed the ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany in September 2023.
