Uzbekistan establishes diplomatic relations with Uganda
The number of countries with which Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations has reached 145.

On January 18, in the city of Kampala, Uzbekistan and Uganda signed a joint communique on the establishment of diplomatic relations.
The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bahrom Aloev and the cabinet minister for Foreign Affairs of Uganda Jeje Odongo inked the document on behalf of the governments of the two countries.
During the conversation, the parties expressed mutual readiness to establish close cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.
The head of the Ugandan MFA noted that the official Kampala highly appreciates the foreign policy of Uzbekistan and prioritizes developing and strengthening friendship, good neighborliness and mutually beneficial relations with the countries of Central Asia.
