Uzbekistan’s new ambassador to Malaysia presents copies of his credentials to Malaysian MFA official
The new Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Karomiddin Gadoyev, presented copies of his credentials to Mohd Aini Atan, the head of the protocol service at the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Following the official ceremony, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for their further development. The sides exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.
Mohd Aini Atan noted that Uzbekistan and Malaysia are historically connected by centuries-old trade and cultural relations, friendship, and spiritual closeness, and the Malaysian government is ready to further expand and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan.
For information, Karomiddin Gadoyev replaced Ravshan Usmanov, who headed Uzbekistan’s diplomatic mission in Kuala Lumpur in 2018–2023.
