The Russian airline Pobeda announced the launch date of flights on the Moscow-Tashkent route and the start of ticket sales.

The low-cost airline plans to begin flights from Vnukovo to the capital of Uzbekistan on April 3.

In April, Pobeda launched direct flights from Moscow to Samarkand. In October, the company increased the frequency of flights to 7 per week.

Shortly before this, the Civil Aviation Agency of Uzbekistan granted the Russian low-cost airline permission to fly on two more routes. The company received the right to operate flights to Samarkand from Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk.

Uzbekistan is the fifth foreign destination for Pobeda after Armenia, Belarus, Turkiye, and the UAE. Vice-President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Dmitry Gorin noted that connecting flights to Southeast Asian countries can be established through the republic.
