Consumers embezzled 73 billion soums worth of gas and electricity in Uzbekistan over 15 days
As a result of illegal use of electricity and natural gas by some consumers in Uzbekistan on December 15, this caused 73 billion 274 million soums worth of damage to the state interest.

During the control activities conducted on December 15, in cooperation with experts of the Uzenergoinspektsiya under the Ministry of Energy, the SSS, the PGO, it was found out that as a result of illegal use of natural gas and electricity by 411 consumers, a total of 73 billion 274 million soums of damage was caused to the state interest.
Energy resources worth 25 billion 293 million soums were looted in Tashkent region in 20 cases, more than 11 billion 308 million soums Tashkent city in 30 cases, and more than 7 billion soums in Fergana region in 52 cases.
Relevant documents have been submitted to the law enforcement agencies to take measures against the violating consumers in the prescribed manner.
