As part of the operative activities carried out by State Security Service officers in the Fergana region, a resident of the Toshlok district, born in 2006, was detained. During searches in his house, 27 kg 573 g of hashish and 3 kg 967 g of opium, intended for further sale, were discovered.
It was established that these drugs were smuggled from Tajikistan.
During a similar operative activity carried out in the Andijan region, a resident of the Kurgantepa district, born in 1986, was detained. It turned out that the suspect conspired with a resident of the Osh region of Kyrgyzstan and was detained while trying to sell 1 kg 806 g of the synthetic substance mephedrone for $80,000.
2 kg 698 g of mephedrone was also found and seized from the detainee’s house. It was established that this synthetic drug was imported from Kyrgyzstan.
Along with this, a Damas car belonging to a resident of the Andijan region, born in 1992, was stopped and searched. 2,800 units of the potent drug Regapen and 957 units of Tropicamide were found in the car.
These potent drugs were also imported from Kyrgyzstan and were intended for further sale.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against the above-mentioned persons under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are being carried out.
