Uzbekistan’s new ambassador to Austria presents credentials to President Alexander Van der Bellen
Bakhtiyor Ibrohimov handed over his credentials to the President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen.

The official ceremony was held on November 21 in Vienna.
Following the event, the parties discussed the issues of strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Austria in political, economic, cultural-humanitarian, and other spheres.
The President of Austria congratulated the ambassador on his appointment to a new position and hoped that his work in this responsible position would serve to further expand Austria's multifaceted relations with Uzbekistan.
It should be reminded that on Tuesday, Ibrohimov was officially accredited as a Permanent Representative of Uzbekistan in the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, whose headquarters are in Vienna.
In 2017-2023, Bakhtiyor Ibrohimov worked as Uzbekistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN in New York.
