HUMO denies rumors about theft of almost 60 billion soums from citizens’ bank cards
The national interbank processing center HUMO responded to information about bank cards being hacked by hackers.

Earlier, reports spread on social networks that hackers hacked HUMO bank cards belonging to citizens of Uzbekistan and stole a total of 57 billion soums. Using the stolen funds, they purchased cryptocurrency and left the country.
The press service of the National Interbank Processing Center reported that this information is not true.
“The HUMO payment system meets all security requirements and there has been no cyber attack on the system,” the report reads.
HUMO also called on citizens not to disseminate unverified and false information and reminded that such actions are subject to liability.
