From November, flexible tariffs will be introduced for Tashkent public transport. Passengers now pay 2,000 soums instead of 1,400 soums for bus and metro fares, the press service of Toshshakhartranskhizmat JSC reports.
It is noted that the fare is 2,000 soums for those who pay in cash or by bank cards, and 1,700 soums for those who use ATTO transport cards.
Preferential prices for cashless payment and exchanges within one hour can be used only by holders of transport cards. That is, if they use the bus for the second time within an hour using ATTO transport cards, 700 soums will be paid for the fare. During one hour, passengers will be completely free to travel from the bus for the third and fourth time to a certain destination.
According to Toshshakhartranskhizmat JSC, the fare of interchanges in the subway is slightly different from that of the bus. It was said that specific information will be provided in this regard.
It should be noted that the increase in fares and the introduction of flexible tariffs in the capital’s public transport have been expected for a long time.
