Uzbekistan, Belarus discussing launching direct flights between Samarkand and Minsk
Chairman of the Committee on Tourism Umid Shadiyev met with Deputy Minister of Sports and Tourism of Belarus Oleg Andreichik, who arrived in Uzbekistan to take part in the UNWTO General Assembly session.

According to the tourism committee, at the meeting, Oleg Andreichik noted the need to work on the issue of opening direct flights between Samarkand and Minsk and carrying out advertising and promotional activities to increase the flow of tourists.
The parties reached an agreement on establishing cooperation between Uzbek and Belarusian tourism companies, carrying out systematic promotional activities and jointly developing tourism products in order to increase tourist flows.
