According to the press service of the President, the head of state seriously criticized the fact that there are many cases of death and injury due to traffic accidents, and the relevant leaders are indifferent to it.
“Young people are dying, around 4,200 people are dying from accidents. You, being the minister of transport, are responsible for putting the traffic lights in place, the decision made by the president, without being indifferent to it, aren’t you? Why should people die because the intersections are not fixed?” the President asked the minister of transport.
It was noted with regret that the deputies were indifferent to the unsatisfactory performance of the officials.
“Why does the president need to worry and “alert” everyone? Why don’t deputies “alert”? So many people are dying, it’s impossible to look at social networks because of the excessive death. Social networks mean the voice of the people,” the head of state said.
As an example, the president mentioned that there is almost no traffic jam in big cities like Beijing, the capital of China, and Moscow, the capital of Russia.
In general, the Minister of Transport and other officials were instructed to take strict measures to develop public transport, install traffic lights and road lines, prevent traffic jams, and regulate roads in the capital’s streets and regions. The task has been set to ensure that 2024 will be a year of serious changes in this regard.
