Russian company TechnoNICOL to build a plant worth 160 billion soums in Uzbekistan

The Russian manufacturer of building materials TechnoNICOL plans to build a plant in Angren, the company’s website reports.

The plant for the production of thermal insulation materials is planned to be launched from the beginning of 2025. It is expected to invest at least 1.3 billion rubles (160 billion soums) in the project. The plant's capacity will be about 300 thousand cubic meters of finished products per year.

“The enterprise provides the construction market of Uzbekistan with modern, reliable and high-quality materials that are in demand in the region,” Sergey Kolesnikov, co-founder of TechnoNICOL, said.

The TechnoNICOL company was founded in 1992 by Sergey Kolesnikov and Igor Rybakov. In 2020, it took 115th place among the largest private companies in Russia according to the Forbes rating. TechnoNICOL has production plants in various countries, including Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Italy, Poland, Great Britain and Germany, as well as scientific divisions, representative offices and training centers.
