Lime factory in Namangan embezzled natural gas worth 7.5 billion soums
This gas was equal to the monthly consumption of more than 23,000 households.

Inspection activities were carried out by Uzenergoinspektsiya and Khududgaztaminot JSC under the Ministry of Energy.
In particular, it was found out that the lime production workshop belonging to A.E.N., a resident of Namangan, was illegally connected to the natural gas network without a metering device.
As a result, it was determined that tge state interest was caused 7 billion 56 million soums (4 million 704 thousand cubic meters) worth of damage. For information, this amount of natural gas is currently equal to the monthly consumption of 23,520 households.
"Appropriate documents have been submitted to the law enforcement agencies to take measures against the offending consumer in the prescribed manner," the report reads.
