Uzbekistan, Singapore to expand cooperation in urban planning and infrastructure development
The two countries agreed to expand collaboration in the fields of transport and logistics, petrochemicals, renewable energy, urban planning, and infrastructure.

The Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Oybek Hamroyev held talks with Sean Chiao, the CEO of Surbana Jurong Group of Singapore.
According to the ministry, the parties discussed the implementation of several projects in the field of water supply and water resources management.
Following the negotiations, the sides agreed to expand cooperation in the fields of transport and logistics, petrochemicals, renewable energy, urban planning, and infrastructure.
For reference, Surbana Jurong Group was established in 2015 and is Singapore's largest urban planning and infrastructure consultancy. It has more than 120 offices in 40 countries with around 16,000 employees. To date, the company has implemented more than 16,000 projects.
