Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, free meals will be provided to primary school students in all regions of the republic and in Tashkent.

The corresponding decree, according to which the State Program for the Implementation of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 was approved in the “Year of Human Care and Quality Education”, was signed by the President in March of this year.

According to the document, food will be supplied, normalized according to the age and state of health of students, as well as meeting sanitary requirements.
