The Minister of Health has signed a relevant decree.
According to the document, students studying at medical institutions of higher education and technical schools of public health named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina will be able to receive a new scholarship provided that they have an internationally recognized certificate that determines the level of English (at least 7.5 in IELTS Academic), German or French (at least C1).
The decree comes into force from the new academic year, which starts in September. The amount of scholarship is said to be three times the BCU (990,000 soums).
For this purpose, rectors of medical higher education institutions and directors of public health technical schools named after Abu Ali Ibn Sina provide quarterly additional information about candidates applying for this scholarship to the Department of Science and Education of the Ministry.
It is noted that at the moment, 56 students who meet the criteria for foreign language proficiency are studying in 9 medical higher education institutions of the ministry system.
