UzAuto Motors stops concluding contracts for Lacetti, Cobalt and Damas 1 day after sales resumption
The number of signed contracts for the purchase of Lacetti, Cobalt and Damas cars is reported to have reached its yearly limit. The monopoly company, which had not sold these models for 8 months, suspended issuing contracts for them for an indefinite period.

According to the company, they have already concluded contracts for more than 50,000 cars and this is the limit they could produce by the end of the year.
“On August 4-5, more than 50,000 contracts for the purchase of these car models were concluded,” the company said. “However, we should note that in case of late payment, after 7 calendar days, the sales contract will be terminated.”
After the announcement of car sales on the evening of August 4, large queues were observed at car dealerships.
It should be reminded that UzAuto Motors stopped concluding contracts for the three most popular models – Lacetti, Cobalt and Damas – in early December 2022.
