Transfer applications will close today, August 5 at 23:59. As of August 4, 72,183 applicants have submitted applications for transfer from foreign and non-state HEIs to state HEIs and inter-state higher education institutions.
Candidates can apply through the following 2 platforms:
• transfer.edu.uz – from one state HEI to another;
• my.uzbmb.uz – from foreign and non-state HEIs operating in foreign countries or in the republic to state HEIs.
Only 2 categories of students are allowed to transfer from one state HEI to another in Uzbekistan:
• if the student gets married, to the university of the place of residence of the spouse;
• when a civil servant changes his/her place of work, his/her child or spouse can transfer his/her studies with a recommendation letter from the relevant supervisor.
Applicants who want to transfer their studies from foreign and private HEIs to state HEIs will take part in tests (if creative exams are taken, then creative exams) conducted by the Knowledge and Skills Assessment Agency. Applicants who are able to obtain the specified passing score are allowed to transfer their studies.
Passing points
The documents of applicants who want to transfer from one country’s higher education institution to another will be reviewed, and only the above-mentioned 2 categories of students will be allowed to transfer.
An applicant’s application for transfer of education may be rejected for one of the following reasons:
• those who studied in non-accredited HEIs of foreign countries or their branches;
• those who studied in a different (other) form of education than the existing form of education in the republican higher education institution;
• those who have studied in the centers, departments, educational-advisory centers, etc. of the Higher Education Institution;
• transfer of studies to the 1st semester of the 1st year if the 1st semester has not been completed (with the exception of cases where the student is on academic leave due to illness, cases of transfer when the studied field of study is unavailable);
• if there is no suitable (cognate) field of study (specialty) or form of education at the HEI;
• when the differences in the general professional and specialty subjects in the model curricula exceed 4 units;
• if the student recommended to study on the basis of a tuition fee does not make the payment within the specified period;
• if the student’s personal summary file (academic reference) is not submitted within the specified time;
• resettlement on the basis of the state grant and if there are no vacancies within the number of students (admission quotas) on the basis of the state grant;
• when the capacity of the material-technical base of HEIs is limited;
• if the student who is admitted on the basis of targeted admission wants to transfer to another field of study or form of education, to another HEI.
