According to the report of the lower house of the Parliament, the joint session of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be dedicated to the inauguration of the elected President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On July 9, 2023, the presidential election of Uzbekistan was held ahead of schedule.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev was elected to the position of President of Uzbekistan with 87.05% of the votes of voters who participated in the election.

Also, 4.43% of voters voted for Robakhon Mahmudova, the candidate from the "Adolat" Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, 4.02% for Ulugbek Inoyatov, the candidate from the People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, and 3.74% for Abdushukur Khamzayev, the candidate from the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan.

More than 15.6 million or almost 80% of the citizens included in the voter's list in the presidential election voted for the candidate they considered worthy.
