Two women from Namangan were found dead on the Kamchik pass. The regional department of the Emergencies Ministry commented on the situation.
As it turned out, on July 7, two 27-year-old women went to the mountains to milk cows near the M-39 highway.
From about 19:20 to 19:27 there was a heavy downpour. Fleeing from it, the women climbed into an iron pipe with a diameter of 1200 mm, designed to drain flood waters. At this time, a mudflow with a volume of about 40-50 cubic meters came down and carried the women further along the pipe for about 400 meters along the Rezaksoy water body.
Their corpses were found during the clearing of the pipe from flood masses.
Currently, the investigative-operational group of the Department of Internal Affairs is conducting a pre-investigation check.
