The circumstances in which the national flag can be used have been expanded, including:
• flag and signs with its image in public places, buildings, places of residence or work, in the transport cabin;
• from the flag at sports competitions, public, ceremonial and cultural events, family holidays, commemoration of memorial dates, at funerals of society and state figures, military personnel;
• signs with the image of the flag can be used to prepare sports clothes for international sports competitions and championships of Uzbekistan.
The law clearly defined the cases of disrespecting the flag, in particular:
• using the flag and symbols with its image torn, soiled, punctured, discolored and in any other inappropriate manner;
using as a covering for something;
• laying or depicting on tables, seats, chairs, using it as a covering, laying or depicting on other seating areas or underfoot;
• using as clothing, tablecloths or bedding, to store and transport items;
• printing signs with the image of the flag on shoes, tablecloths, bedclothes, underwear, towels, boxes (packaging), single-use and disposable items or printing its image in another way;
• the flag and signs with its image cannot be used contrary to the rules of etiquette and social behavior.
The responsibility for the use of the national flag and the symbols with its image in accordance with the established requirements is assigned to individuals and legal entities that use the flag, as well as state bodies.
