From the 2024/2025 academic year, a new principle – exam first, selection next – will be introduced in state higher education institutions.

In accordance with this principle, applicants will be allowed to choose a higher education institution, educational direction and form of study based on the score obtained in the test.

Also, certificates of international exams in general education subjects will be taken into account for admission to the state higher education institution.
