Power supply to be temporarily suspended in some areas of Tashkent

The Tashkent city administration announced that the power supply will be cut off in 7 neighborhoods of the capital until the evening.
In order to modernize power supply cables and transformers that have been in use for a long time and thereby ensure the stable supply of electricity to consumers, to prevent emergency situations in power networks and to thoroughly prepare for the autumn-winter season, on June 26, repair works will be carried out at the following addresses and the power supply will be temporarily suspended:
Until 16:00:
- Partially in "Rakatboshi", "Muhandislar", and "Eski Jaloyir" neighborhoods;
Until 17:00:
- Partially in "Kazirabad", "Katta Kazirabad", "Tong yulduzi" and "Faiziabad" neighborhoods;
“The repair works in the above areas may be completed earlier than the scheduled time,” the city administration said.
“Tashkent city branch of JSC "Territorial Electric Networks" apologizes to the consumers living in these areas for the inconvenience caused due to the temporary interruptions in the electricity supply due to these repair works,” the JSC says.
