Saida Mirziyoyeva: It is useless to talk about the quality of education without creating conditions for students
The need for schools in Uzbekistan is steadily increasing. Some schools have up to 40 students in one class. Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of communications and information policy department of the PA Executive Office, said about this.

Saida Mirziyoyeva visited Angor district (Surkhandarya region) and inspected one of the schools.
“Unfortunately, the condition of some of our schools in the remote areas is extremely deplorable. I was once again convinced of this by inspecting the 9th school in Angor district. It was painful for me to see that even the most basic conditions, communication, school equipment, and even space for students are not available here,” she says.
It is noted that the need for schools is constantly increasing.
“Because the number of births increases every year, some schools have up to 40 students in one class. Many more training places are still to be established. This is a difficult process. But it is impossible not to solve these problems, it is useless to talk about education without creating conditions for students.
It is no coincidence that education is one of the main priority goals of our President, who always insists that development cannot be achieved without education. The President chose a child, not a field. Teachers were freed from the scourge of cotton. Penalties up to criminal liability have been established for situations such as involving them in forced labor other than education. The modern teaching system for primary classes is being introduced from September of this year. Foreign language experts are brought in to teach English, and modern equipment is provided for schools. All these are just some of the works in this direction,” Saida Mirziyoyeva said.
It was reported that the repair and re-equipment of the 9th school in Angor district will begin soon.
“But these things should be systematically implemented and continued every day, not because someone came. So that the most remote village schools have at least the necessary conditions. That’s the only way we can achieve our goal – quality education,” the head of the communications and information policy department of the PA executive office concluded.
