Uzbekistan to introduce single automated natural gas movement system
By July 1, 2023, online electronic meters will be installed at all natural gas reception and transmission points, and they will be integrated with the information systems of tax authorities, and a single automated natural gas movement system will be introduced.

The presidential decision “On measures to improve the system of accounting for natural gas and liquid hydrocarbon extraction, processing and sale” was adopted.
According to the decision, by July 1, 2023, online electronic meters will be installed at all natural gas reception and transmission points. These counters will be integrated with the information systems of tax authorities, and a single automated natural gas movement system will be introduced.
From October 1, 2023, it is mandatory to install chromatographs and electronic meters at the points of gas reception and transmission of enterprises that transport natural gas from Uzbekistan through pipelines. By July 1, 2023, an information system will be introduced to enter information on contracts for the sale of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons.
From October 1, 2023: information on contracts for the sale of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons will be entered into the information system of the Tax Committee; Electronic invoices for these contracts are created based on the information entered into the information system of the Tax Committee.
By October 1, 2024, 2 additional gas measuring stations will be built in the republic.
