Uzbekistan increases footwear exports
In January-March 2023, Uzbekistan exported 5.7 million pairs of shoes to 11 countries for $10.2 million.
According to the Statistics Agency, the value of footwear exports increased by $1.9 million compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan exported footwear mainly to the following countries:
- Kazakhstan - 2.4 million pairs
- Kyrgyz R. - 2 million pairs
- Tajikistan - 1 million pairs
- Russia - 135 thousand pairs
