Information provided on losses of energy companies in Q1
The financial statements of the companies Issiqlik elektr stansiyalari, UzGasTrade, Uztransgaz, Khududgaztaminot, Uzbekkumir, Regional Electric Networks for the first quarter of 2023 have been published. All of them continue to operate at a great loss.

According to the single corporate information portal, these companies ended the 1st quarter of the year with losses in the following amounts:
• Uzbekkumir – 20.3 billion soums;
• New Angren Thermal Power Station – 26.8 billion soums;
• Angren Thermal Power Station – 76.9 billion soums;
• Khududgaztaminot – 86.5 billion soums;
• Regional Electric Networks JSC – 116.7 billion soums;
• Thermal power stations – 1.6 trillion soums;
• UzGasTrade – 2.4 trillion soums;
• Uztransgaz – a loss of 2.5 trillion soums or a profit of 1.9 trillion soums (two types of information are posted on the portal).
It should be recalled that last year UzGasTrade JSC, which performs the function of wholesale purchase and sale of natural gas, was established, thus this function of Uztransgaz was canceled and it was decided to deal only with transportation. In the state budget of 2023, it is planned to allocate 14.2 trillion soums to compensate UzGasTrade losses and finance its current activities.
The report of Uzbekneftgaz, one of the major companies in the field of energy, has not been disclosed.
