Citizens of Uzbekistan evacuated from Sudan
Saudi Arabia has helped evacuate many people amid ongoing armed conflicts in Sudan.

More than 200 citizens of different countries were evacuated from Sudan on April 26 and brought to Jeddah, Al Arabiya reports with reference to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Citizens of Russia, Great Britain, China, the USA, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia and Pakistan are said to have been evacuated from Sudan with the help of Saudi Arabia.
The number and names of the evacuated citizens of Uzbekistan were not mentioned in the report.
According to the SPA, all 203 evacuees were transported through HMS Abha, where the Kingdom “worked to provide all the necessary needs in preparation for facilitating their departure to their countries.”.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), at least 459 people were killed and more than 4,000 were injured in the conflict that began in Sudan on April 15.
Fighting is raging in the country between forces loyal to army chief Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his rival, Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, his former deputy in command of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
