Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives electric car TOGG sent by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

On April 12, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the delegation headed by the Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkiye, Mustafa Varank.
The agenda of the meeting included the issues of expanding practical cooperation, supporting and promoting collaboration projects, introducing innovations and advanced technologies, and other aspects of strengthening Uzbekistan-Turkiye large-scale strategic partnership relations.
The purpose of the delegation's visit to the country at the request of the President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was to demonstrate and hand over the first national electric car produced under the Togg brand.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed his gratitude and congratulated the President and the people of Turkiye on the great success achieved in the engineering sector – the production of electric cars.
The head of state got behind the wheel of the EV and tried it together with the Turkish delegation officials.
