Individuals who killed a police officer in Tashkent convicted
On September 29, 2022, an officer of one of the MIA departments was killed by a group of people as a result of a mutual disagreement. After the murder, the body was thrown into the Chirchik River.

According to the Tashkent city court, the Mirzo Ulugbek district court on criminal proceedings issued the following verdict against three persons:
- a 36-year-old defendant was found guilty under Articles 28 and 97 (complicity to murder) of the Criminal Code and was sentenced to 23 years in prison;
- a 37-year-old man was found guilty under Articles 97 (murder), 164 (robbery) and 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to 24 years in prison;
- a 39-year-old defendant was found to be a very dangerous recidivist under Articles 97 and 164 of the Criminal Code and was sentenced to 24 years and one month in prison.
It should be recalled that in early October 2022, it became known that an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was killed and his body thrown into the river in Uzbekistan.
After that, the PGO press service reported that on September 29, as a result of a quarrel and disagreement, a policeman of one of the MIA departments was killed by two men. After the murder, the body was thrown into the Chirchik River.
During the search, the body of the MIA employee was found in the river. On the above fact, a case was initiated by law enforcement agencies under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
