It was noted that the current tourist season in the country is short, but the potential for its extension is huge.
Two more months can be added to the tourist season by organizing mountaineering and ski areas in the winter season in Tashkent and Jizzakh regions, swimming facilities in the summer season in Andijan, Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Navoi regions and the city of Tashkent.
In this regard, the relevant ministries and responsible leaders were instructed to increase cultural events, develop winter, ecological tourism, use the opportunities of nature reserves, parks and natural monuments.
It was instructed to approve a special program of domestic tourism for teachers and medical workers and start organizing their trips and recreation around the country.
It was noted that this year should be the year of promoting the country’s rich culture and tourism potential into the world. 100 billion soums have been allocated for this.
Development of the “visiting card of Uzbekistan” and updating the tourism brand, broadcasting the “visiting card of Uzbekistan” on foreign TV channels, in large countries such as the USA, China, Arab countries, Japan, Korea, France, Germany, Great Britain, Malaysia, Russia, Kazakhstan, placing information about the “tourist brand of Uzbekistan” on screens on busy city streets, as well as increasing ads about Uzbekistan on Internet sites with billions of subscribers.
