The Senate approved the law, which provides for punishment up to criminal liability for involving teachers in forced labor.
Saida Mirziyoyeva, head of the Communications and Information Policy Department of the PA Executive Office, welcomed this event.
āThis is a big step towards teacher protection. I am sure that those who want to force them to do things that are not part of their duties will have to answer before the law. When the law is signed by the President, it will be a big phenomenon for teachers and the education sector in general. We are expecting it to happen,ā she wrote.
