In front of the arrivals terminal at the Tashkent international airport, the construction of a passenger pick-up zone has begun.
The first of two planned such areas will replace the existing pick-up zone. Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of March, Uzbekistan Airports reports.
In connection with the construction work, the territory from the fence to the green zone is surrounded by a banner. Passengers will temporarily enter the city through parking lot P2 (between the departure and arrival terminals).
