According to the agreement, the consortium of these companies will make direct investment in Uzbekistan in the amount of $2 billion.
The first capacities of these solar photoelectric plants are planned to be launched by the end of 2023, and in 2024 at full capacity. As a result, 5 billion kWh of electricity will be produced per year, and 1.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas will be saved.
It should be recalled that on February 15, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the CEEC ENERGY CHINA on the construction of solar photoelectric plants with a total capacity of 2000 MW in Kashkadarya, Bukhara and Samarkand regions.
