“Kyrgyzstan pays special attention to the development of good-neighborly relations with Uzbekistan. For us, Uzbekistan is a true friend and a reliable strategic partner. Currently, there are no political conflicts between our countries.
Inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries are consistently developing, and they occupy an important place in interstate cooperation.
Today we are completing the delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border. This is truly a historic event. We have demonstrated our willingness to dialogue and seek mutually acceptable solutions. I am sure that by putting an end to the border issues, we will lay a solid foundation for the further development of collaboration for our future generations,” Japarov said.
The President of Kyrgyzstan noted that Mirziyoyev “made an incomparable contribution to solving important issues regarding the delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border.”
