Law enforcement bodies seize about 5 kg of narcotic substances imported from Tajikistan
An operative event was held by employees of the Navoi Regional SSS Department.

Initially, when a Spark car was stopped and checked at the “Samarqand muntazam” post-patrol station located in Karmana district, citizen A.B. (born in 1999), who was travelling as a passenger, was found to have 992 grams of “hashish” with him. The fact was formalized in procedural order.
It was found that he bought the narcotic substance from T.M. (born in 1996), a resident of Urgut district, and he was also arrested.
As a result of investigations, it was found that the drug was purchased from citizens living in Samarkand.
In particular, citizen Kh.Kh. (born in 1991), who was previously convicted for a crime related to drugs, and her husband Kh.F. (born in 1982), residents of Samarkand city, were detained while selling 2 kg 966 grams of “hashish” for $21,000.
Also, citizen Kh.M. (born in 1985), living in Bulungur district, was also arrested while selling 954 grams of “opium” in the city of Samarkand.
Allegedly, these drugs were smuggled from the Republic of Tajikistan.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against these persons under Article 273-5 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
