Emergency service “102” received almost 3 million calls in 2022
The service “102” was created in the internal affairs bodies to provide prompt assistance to the population. This number can be called in cases of offenses, crimes, as well as in situations where it is impossible to get other help.

“102 is the number of the “emergency” service created in the internal affairs system. The new call centers of the “102” system were launched in three stages from September 2020 to the end of 2021. At the end of 2022, 2 million 864 thousand 778 calls were received,” deputy head of the MIA Information Service, Senior Lieutenant Nilufar Turakhanova, said.
The “102” system is equipped with modern information-communication technologies, integrated into a single cluster and platform. Information security and software and hardware protection of the system are provided.
One can call the number “102” not only when offenses or crimes are committed, people in need of help, especially elderly citizens, can also contact the call center. In such a situation, messages are transferred to prevention inspectors at the place of residence, and the necessary assistance is provided.
Last year, there were 4,158 appeals related to social issues.
There are over 400 officers in the “102” service, they work in 3 shifts. They guard the peace of the population around the clock.
