Civil Aviation Committee provides info on injured passengers of “Tashkent – Almaty” flight
According to preliminary information, 5 people were injured in the incident.

As the press service of the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan reported, 4 of them refused hospitalization with various bruises and burns. They received initial medical aid.
At the same time, a citizen of Uzbekistan with a suspicion of a closed fracture of the cervical vertebra was hospitalized.
According to the committee, on January 2, during the operation of flight KC128 of Air Astana on the route “Tashkent – Almaty”, severe turbulence occurred on the aircraft board.
The plane took off at 14:35 local time. During the flight, the airliner suddenly fell into a zone of severe turbulence. Five passengers were injured, four of whom refused hospitalization and currently one passenger is in the hospital for examination.
The airliner landed in Almaty at 16:45. The flight crew provided first aid to the passengers. The pilots informed the airport services about the incident.
Passengers were taken to the airport by ambulances to provide assistance.
Earlier, the press service of Air Astana reported that seven people were injured in the incident.
