Deputy Minister of Finance Odilbek Isakov provided information about how much budget funds will be saved after the administrative changes at the International Press Club session.
“According to preliminary calculations, 2.8 trillion soums will be saved due to the implementation of administrative reforms. In particular, 2.4 trillion soums of 300 billion soums will go to the budget from the sale of more than 300 buildings vacated due to the reduction of staff units of ministries and agencies up to 30%, due to the optimization of organizations and agencies. Due to the reduction of the position of the head, 16.5 billion soums are expected to be saved from the auction sale of 55 cars, and about 17 billion soums will be saved due to the reduction of business trips to the regions and the use of the online admission system. 22 billion soums will be saved due to optimization of costs related to the maintenance of state administration apparatus. It is planned to save 18 billion soums due to the optimization of costs by setting standards that include maximum prices for holding official events. These funds will be directed to the social sector,” Odilbek Isakov said.
