More than 5 thousand foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for study purposes over ten months
In January-October 2022, 5.3 thousand foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for the purpose of education.
Of these, 500 were under the age of 18, 3.4 thousand – between the ages of 19 and 30, 1.1 thousand – 31-55 years old and 300 – 56 years and older, the State Statistics Committee said.
Earlier, the committee noted that as of November 1, 4.4 million citizens of Uzbekistan had made foreign trips for tourism purposes. The top five countries where Uzbeks traveled the most were Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkey and Russia.
