Alisher Kadirov once again speaks about privatization of energy sector
In winter, Uzbeks often criticize the authorities because of regular gas and electricity cuts. This is especially evident now in the regions of the country. Alisher Kadirov, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, believes that privatization of the energy sector will solve many problems. The deputy also published a night photo of New York.

“If you produce for 100 soums and sell it for 101 soums, you will be satisfied with 1 soum profit. This 1 soum becomes 1 billion. You spend 990 million on repairing networks to maintain the market,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
In his opinion, it is useless to produce expensively and sell cheaper.
“If you produce it for 100 soums and sell it for 25 soums, if you cover 75 soums from debt and repair the network with the money you can get from the budget once in 3-4 years... winter is cold, even if gas and electricity outages are not related to snow and MPs, they look black to the people,” he emphasized.
On November 17, Alisher Kadirov wrote about the privatization of the energy sector. “There will be no change in the industry until the energy sales companies themselves make a profit,” he said.
Earlier, the Minister of Finance Timur Ishmetov announced that subsidies for electricity and gas are increasing as a result of not increasing tariffs.
