SSS officers discover an illegal mining farm
The farm in Bukhara region caused a loss of 2.5 billion soums to the state.

The operation of the illegal mining farm was stopped in the Romitan district in cooperation with the Bukhara Regional SSS Department and the Regional DIA.
According to SSS, the head of the LLC specialized in servicing computers and other technical devices rented the building of another private enterprise located in the desert area of Romitan district and a field shed belonging to the farm. Then, these buildings were illegally connected to the high-voltage power grid by installing mining devices.
During the inspection, a total of 456 pieces of 9 types of mining devices and other electrical equipment were seized as material evidence.
According to the conclusion of Uzenergoinspektsiya Bukhara Regional Department and Romitan District Electric Networks Enterprise, as a result of illegal use of electricity, the mining farm caused damage to the state in the amount of 2.5 billion soums.
Currently, a criminal case has been opened and investigations are being conducted under the relevant article of the Criminal Code.
