According to the rule of the TV show “Omadingizni bersin”, which is aired every week, the participants get the prize only after they find the 2 pieces (miniature models) of the same award. In the 13th issue of the program, Kh.Kh, a resident of Fergana region, was lucky and won the following prizes: a washing machine, a refrigerator, a gas stove, a microwave oven, a vacuum cleaner, a tablet, a smartphone and 50 million soums.
After the show was filmed, the winner was told he would receive the prizes within 90 business days from the day the game is broadcast. However, he never received the promised wins. The game, in the meantime, continued on TV.
People waiting for their rewards
M.U., who lives in the Uchkuprik district of Fergana region, who won 20 million soums by participating in the 4th episode of the TV show, also found himself at a dead-end.
O.J., who lives in the Amudarya district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, won 10 million soums, a washing machine, a laptop and a Nexia-3 car in the 10th episode of the “Omadingizni bersin” show. But the prizes and the car were not given.
On May 28 of this year, A.M., a resident of the Khatirchi district, Navoi region, won a Damas car, however, it has not been delivered.

According to a request by the Agency for Protecting Consumer Rights and the information provided by the game sponsor, only one person in each of the 1, 2, 3 and 12 issues received their prizes. 55 participants are still waiting for their wins.
The participants came to the capital from different regions of the republic hoping to participate in the TV game and win a prize.
What punishment is provided by law?
In accordance with the law “On advertising”, when conducting promotions in which valuable prizes are distributed and (or) played, or promotions that require actions to be taken by the user of the advertisement in order to participate in these promotions, the advertiser must publish the terms of participation in the mass media and (or) on the Internet.
Promotional information should not contain any words that increase the probability of winning.
It is prohibited to organize and hold incentive promotions without the appropriate reward fund.
In the above case, the participants were not aware of the game rules and the information was not provided to them in the national language. This violates Article 21 of the Law.
On the other hand, the special commission of the agency initiated a case against “MIA-MAA” LLC regarding the violation of the requirements of Articles 6 and 21 of the law “On advertising” and gave an instruction to eliminate the shortcomings.
At the same time, the documents collected by the Agency for Protecting Consumer Rights have been submitted to law enforcement agencies for the purpose of legal assessment of the situation.
People familiar with the situation informed Kun.uz correspondent that the participants who achieved success in these TV games may lose hope of prizes. Nothing will be paid to them out of the 2 billion soum award. “MIA-MAA” LLC will be only imposed a fine of several BCAs.
