Saneg company, which is the executor of the state program to increase oil production in the Republic of Uzbekistan, fully fulfills the set indicators for gas production in our country. Today, the company accounts for less than 5% of gas production in Uzbekistan. The main investments of the private company are directed to the development of the oil industry, and according to the decision No. 1002 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 15, 2019, it should increase from 378 thousand tons to 1.6 million tons by 2030.
The company focuses on providing the economy and population of Uzbekistan with the most demanded products in the field of oil and gas processing – gasoline and diesel fuel, as well as modern oils for cars, kerosene for aviation and other products related to providing heat to the cities of our country.
Igor Gusenkov, director of corporate communications of Saneg, noted that within the framework of yesterday’s press conference of the Deputy Minister of Energy, readers may have the impression that Saneg somehow evades the implementation of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and does not fulfill its obligations in the field of oil and gas. This is far from the truth. The company is maximally interested in the development of the economy of Uzbekistan and strives to provide it with high-quality refined products from its raw materials. The company’s share in gas production in Uzbekistan does not exceed 5%. Saneg’s private investments involving independent and foreign investors in the development of the resource base of the Republic of Uzbekistan exceed $500 million. Without attracting these funds, all indicators of the growth of the country’s resource base and the provision of fuel to the population cannot be achieved.
