Individuals attempting to illegally send an Uzbek citizen to America detained in Samarkand

For their service of sending to the United States through Turkey and Japan, the detainees demanded $40,000.
In the course of an operative event carried out by employees of the Samarkand Regional SSS Department and the DIA, citizens were detained who planned to illegally send an Uzbek man to the United States.
It turned out that 30-year-old I.N., a resident of Payaryk district, having entered into an agreement with 28-year-old U.A., a resident of Taylak district, promised a local resident to send him to the United States through Turkey and Japan for $40,000.
As an advance payment for the preparation of preliminary documents and a passport, they demanded $10,000 of the agreed amount. Thus, the lawbreakers were caught red-handed upon receipt of the money.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated against citizens I.N. and U.A. under the relevant Articles of the Criminal Code. Currently, an investigation is ongoing.
