This was announced on October 18 at a press conference by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Nuran Niyazaliev, 24.kg reports
According to him, strengthening cooperation with Uzbekistan is one of the priorities of Kyrgyzstan’s foreign policy.
“Therefore, the head of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, made one of his first visits after his election to Tashkent. An agreement was reached on the state visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Deadlines are being worked out through diplomatic channels. It is necessary to develop organizational issues and content of the meeting. A number of bilateral agreements, memorandums, an action plan, investment projects are being prepared, which we want to offer to the Uzbek side,” Nuran Niyazaliev said.
He added that the timing depends on the work schedule of the two presidents. The Deputy Minister also assured that the preparations are in full swing.
Earlier it was reported that on October 20-21 this year, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev would visit Turkmenistan.
