Senators approve six bills
Yesterday, the thirty-third plenary session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis was held in Tashkent.

It was attended by members of the Senate, governments, representatives of ministries and departments, members of the Youth Parliament under the Senate and media workers.
The plenary session, which was held in the format of videoconferencing, was chaired by the Chairperson of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva.
The plenary session was broadcast online through the Senateās YouTube channel.
During the plenary session, senators considered 11 issues, including 6 laws. Among them are the Law āOn Standardizationā in a new edition, the Law āOn State Registration of Rights to Real Estateā, the Law āOn Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan āOn the Names of Geographical Objectsā, the Law āOn Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan āOn State Pension Provision of Citizensā, aimed at improving the procedure for assigning a pensionā, the Law āOn Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistanā.
Senators also discussed the results of studying the work done to create new jobs and ensure employment in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region, heard and discussed the report of the regional khokim of Fergana on the ongoing work on implementation of investment projects and development of entrepreneurship, the results of a parliamentary request sent to the Cabinet of Ministers on implementation of localization programs in the manufacturing sector of the economy, the results of a parliamentary inquiry sent to the government on the status of fulfilling the tasks defined to ensure environmental stability and the widespread introduction of modern innovative technologies in the Aral Sea region.
All considered laws were approved by senators. Appropriate decisions were made on other issues.
