Heat supply tariffs for individuals and entrepreneurs in Tashkent to remain unchanged

The Tashkent city administration issued a decree “On the approval of regulated prices (tariffs) for heat supply services provided by FE LLC Veolia Energy Tashkent”.

Regulated prices (basic tariff) for heat supply services provided by FE LLC Veolia Energy Tashkent are set at 397,212 UZS/Gcal. In accordance with the aforementioned decree, retail tariffs for heat supply services remain at the same level for:

population - 91,960 sum/Gcal (in force since August 15, 2019);
small, medium and large businesses - 141,737 soums / Gcal (in force since August 15, 2019).

The retail tariff for budgetary organizations is 502,067 UZS/Gcal. This tariff comes into force 15 days after publication, that is, from October 21, 2022.

The difference between the base and retail tariffs will be subsidized by the local budget of the city of Tashkent. 

The company is planning to carry out modernization and reconstruction of heat supply systems and implement a pilot project in Sergeli and Bektemir districts using the subsidies and funds received from consumers for heat supply and hot water supply services, as well as its own capital investments.

The French company Veolia, through its subsidiary IE Veolia Energy Tashkent LLC, manages the heat supply system of the city of Tashkent from July 1, 2022, for a period of 30 years on the basis of the Public-Private Partnership Agreement dated September 29, 2021.
