Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Hungary
At the invitation of the Hungarian side, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Hungary on October 3-4.

According to the presidential press service, the upcoming trip is a return visit by Shavkat Mirziyoyev in accordance with the agreements reached at a meeting of the leaders of the two countries in Tashkent in March last year.
In accordance with the program of the stay in Budapest, negotiations will be held at the highest level - with Hungarian President Katalin Novák and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
The agenda of the Uzbek-Hungarian summit includes topical issues of further development of strategic partnership relations and expansion of multifaceted cooperation, primarily in trade, economic, investment, agricultural, financial, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Particular attention will be paid to the implementation of joint projects and programs aimed at increasing the volume of mutual trade, deepening industrial cooperation in the field of pharmaceuticals, agro-industrial complex, mechanical engineering, water conservation and other areas.
There will also be an exchange of views on issues of international and regional politics, including interaction within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States. Following the talks, it is planned to sign a joint statement and a solid package of bilateral agreements.
In addition, it is envisaged that Mirziyoyev will hold a meeting with the heads of leading companies and banks in Hungary.
