Almost 4.5 million citizens of Uzbekistan owe 2.7 trillion soums on property and land

According to the Tax Code, individuals pay property and land taxes in equal shares until April 15 and October 15, the head of the information service of the State Tax Committee Dildora Khoshimova reported.
In 2022, 3 trillion 450 billion soums of land and property taxes were accrued for a total of 8 million 85 thousand individuals owning land plots and real estate.
By September 28 of this year, 2 trillion 5 billion soums were paid, that is, 58% of the accrued. Taxes in the amount of 2 trillion 798 billion 4 million soums remain unpaid, including the debt of 4 million 400 thousand citizens left over from last year.
